Activities

	Safe Kids Coalition provides safety tips for kids in Massillon. Volunteers of the Stark County SAFE KIDS coalition walked Watson Elementary students to school the morning of October 2, 2002 to explain sidewalk and street safety.
	Quota of Massillon Books and Bears Project This project collects new or gently used books to be distributed to children under age 18 in the Massillon, Jackson, Perry and Tuslaw districts.  Drop off points are Home Health Care in downtown Massillon; the Massillon Area Chamber of Commerce; office of Dr. Anthony B. Perry in Mayflower Shopping Center; Savings and Trust branch at Amherst Road and Lake Ave. and John George's convenience store on Lincoln Way West.  Co-chairs are Linda Morton and Kerri Rohr.
	Massillon Fire Chief Larry Layne, Kathrine Catazaro-Perry, and Frank Conway, Superintendent of the Ohio Fire Academy.
